چکیده

The Gas Absorption Spectrometer Correlating Optical Difference—New Generation 4 (GASCOD/NG4) is a multi-axis differential optical absorption spectroscopy (MAX-DOAS) instrument which measures diffuse solar spectra at the Environmental-Climate Observatory (ECO) of Italian research institute CNR-ISAC, near Lecce. high-resolution measured in zenith-sky configuration were used to retrieve NO2 and O3 vertical column densities (VCDs) from March 2017 November 2019. These good-quality data, proven by comparison with Ozone Monitoring Instrument (OMI) TROPOspheric (TROPOMI) satellite measurements, characterize ECO site exploiting sinergy situ concentrations meteorological data. Although stratospheric processes seem be main forces behind VCDs seasonal trends, diurnal variabilities revealed presence tropospheric signal VCDs, had significant lower values during Sundays. Comparison wind data acquired observatory, 20 m above ground, how are influenced both local production transport nearby city On other hand, no was contained VCDs.

Measurements of Tropospheric NO2 in Romania Using a Zenith-Sky Mobile DOAS System and Comparisons with Satellite Observations

In this paper we present a new method for retrieving tropospheric NO2 Vertical Column Density (VCD) from zenith-sky Differential Optical Absorption Spectroscopy (DOAS) measurements using mobile observations. This method was used during three days in the summer of 2011 in Romania, being to our knowledge the first mobile DOAS measurements peformed in this country. The measurements were carried ou...

Tropospheric nitrogen dioxide column retrieval from ground-based zenith–sky DOAS observations

We present an algorithm for retrieving tropospheric nitrogen dioxide (NO2) vertical column densities (VCDs) from ground-based zenith–sky (ZS) measurements of scattered sunlight. The method is based on a four-step approach consisting of (1) the differential optical absorption spectroscopy (DOAS) analysis of ZS radiance spectra using a fixed reference spectrum corresponding to low NO2 absorption,...

Comparison of GOME tropospheric NO2 columns with NO2 profiles deduced from ground-based in situ measurements

Nitrogen dioxide (NO2) vertical tropospheric column densities (VTCs) retrieved from the Global Ozone Monitoring Experiment (GOME) are compared to coincident ground-based tropospheric NO2 columns. The ground-based columns are deduced from in situ measurements at different altitudes in the Alps for 1997 to June 2003, yielding a unique long-term comparison of GOME NO2 VTC data retrieved by a colla...
